On this page we hope to answer some of the more usual questions we are asked about our company and the supply of memorials. Of course if you have a question which is not answered here you can always email, ring or write.
We deliver and erect memorials over the entire mainland England & Wales. Our price is the same wherever we go, there are no extra charges for distance. We can also arrange export.
The average time from order to fitting is around 24 weeks at present.
Generally it is wise to wait at least 6 months to allow the ground to settle unless there is a cemetery beam (long piece of concrete like a path onto which memorials are fixed). However this does not prevent you ordering as soon as you like and we can put the stone up at the appropriate time.
In almost every case the answer is yes! We can quote for any stone from any catalogue (AND generally delight you with the price) or from photographs.
All our memorials are fixed to the NAMM code of working practice. Using ground anchors where appropriate.
All our stonework is guaranteed for 10 years (subject to reasonable conditions) and we also issue a ‘certificate of conformity’ which guarantees that the stone was fitted to the standards laid down by the National Association of Memorial Masons. This certificate has no time limit.
Our stones are guaranteed that in the unlikely event one goes out of level in the first 2 years we will straighten it up once free of charge.
We also offer very reasonable insurance cover from the market leader, Stoneguard.
Of course you would. Once we have approval for the inscription from the burial authorities we send you 3 or 4 layouts of what the stone could look like for your approval, if you don’t like what you see then the layout / style can usually be changed until you are happy.
Assuming the memorial is within cemetery regulations the only additional cost is any fee charged by the cemetery, we will normally inform you of this when preparing a quote.
